Emersion Music proudly announces the upcoming immersive concert experience, “RENEWAL: Harmonizing Our Tomorrow,” set to take place at The Culver Steps on April 24th and 25th. Building on the success of previous events, this extraordinary concert aims to bring a unique blend of live chamber strings, contemporary movement artists, and captivating narrative works by film and media composers.
A Spectacular Intimate Event: Unveiling Personal Journeys of Renewal
“RENEWAL” is not just a concert; it’s a journey. Audiences will witness two nights of a spectacular and intimate event, featuring live strings, dynamic live dancers, and narrative works that unveil personal journeys of renewal. This pop up experience is to create a space for community reconnection and reflection, exploring what renewal means in the context of a growing city with neo-classical music.
With creative programming including new music by local film & media composers; Emer Kinsella, Hannah Parrott, Yuichiro Oku, Matthew Wang, Emmy winner Denise Santos and Grammy winner Carla Patullo, performed by live strings with the Emersion Ensemble & contemporary dance and movement artists directed by Friidom, Renewal promises an eclectic display of live performance art not to be missed.
Funded in part by the City of Culver City and its Cultural Affairs Commission, with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment, BMI, Fine Line Music, The Alliance for Women Film Composers, Creative Visions and CIACLA (Contemporary Irish Arts Center LA), Sephora, The Auld Fella and more.

Emersion Music led by Emer Kinsella, creates innovative concerts to immerse, engage, and inspire urban communities by using city spaces as a platform for transformation through music. This is the third site-specific performance in a series of outdoor performances, since the 2019 ‘Intrinsic Strings on the Overlook ’’ at Baldwin Hills scenic overlook and ‘Renovation’ on the Culver Steps in 2022.
